Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actor, TV presenter, artist on record and businesswoman. Her achievements have been numerous throughout her career. She was also nominated twice for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis starred over a number of TV shows, including Hiram, Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose 2011, and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013.) In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she played the Komiks famous character Dyesebel. She has also been a host on the popular noontime variety show, It's Time to Showtime (2009-2020). Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne in Australia on 17th of February 1985. She is an Filipina and Australian actress. Her achievements include numerous awards throughout her professional career. These include the two FAMAS Awards, a Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards, and five PMPC Star Awards in the television segment. In addition, Curtis has won 8 PMPC Star Awards nominations and two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television shows including Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. She portrayed Dyesebel as the eminent Komiks character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. The show also featured her as host during the evening (2009-2010) Curtis was born a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan. Her father is an Australian Lawyer, James Ernest Curtis Smith. Her father James Ernest Curtis-Smith, married Ojales back in 1982. Her younger sibling Jasmine has also become an actor. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister named Clare who died in 2007 due to an illness of the heart at just the age of four months.
